Messenger Facebook Standalone website

Facebook launched standalone website for Messenger

Most of us may not know the fact that Facebook has recently launched a Standalone website for Messenger although this service is already available on Facebook's official website but Facebook wants a standalone browsing experience with desktop notification, But with a major change unlike Facebook's current user experience, from desktop app there is no further notifications and distractions of news feed, timeline, photos, videos e.t.c which seems pretty good for the business users or page owners. Here are some of the screenshots of the Messenger.com

In July update, Facebook forced its mobile users to download Messenger app to continue using Facebook chat and from then Facebook app does not support messenger service and now as the Messenger for desktop has been launched there may be likely chances of Facebook to redirect its desktop users towards Messenger.com (which is currently not in plan of Facebook in recent reply to venturebeat.com) which could be a tough time for its users as it is faced earlier in mobile app and it also became the main reason of users downloaded the old mobile app rather than switching to latest update, for the purpose of using both services on a single app rather than consuming more ram by simultaneously running two app, now the same case will apply to the desktop, now the users have to scroll between two tabs if the Facebook decided to stop the chat facility in Facebook.com.

Apparently it is a good step from Facebook because now messenger works across browsers on Windows, Mac and Linux and which makes sense. Lets see what difference will this step make.

  1. Do you want to get your ex back? Or maybe you simply want to move on after a painful breakup. A few years ago, if you broke up with someone, you would take down their pictures and try your best to avoid their calls. But today, social media and digital technology have become a cornerstone of our reality. You probably have a facebook account recovery, a Twitter account, and instant messaging, at the very least-all of which are linked in with your ex. This creates a dangerous situation, as it is extremely tempting to keep these accounts linked so you can look in from time to time and see what your ex is doing.
